Returns & Exchange Policy
At Mithila Melange, every item is handcrafted with love, care, and intention. Because our products are made by hand, often using natural materials, each piece is unique, with slight variations that are part of its charm. Still, your satisfaction matters deeply to us.
Return Eligibility (Physical Products)
We accept returns or exchanges only if:
- The product is damaged, defective, or incorrect upon delivery.
- You notify us within 3 days of receiving your order, with unboxing photos/videos as proof.
Unfortunately, we do not accept returns for:
- Minor imperfections due to handmade nature.
- Change of mind or personal preference.
- Custom or made-to-order products.
Exchange Policy (Physical Products)
If you’ve received a damaged or wrong product, we’ll happily offer:
- A replacement, or
- An exchange with another product of the same value, subject to availability.
How to Request a Return or Exchange (Physical Products)
- Email us at mithilamelange[at]gmail.com within 3 days of delivery.
- Include:
- Order ID
- Clear photos/video of the damaged/incorrect item
- Brief description of the issue
- Our team will get back to you within 48 hours.Â
- Once approved:
- We’ll arrange a reverse pickup where possible.
- In cases where reverse pickup isn’t available, you may need to ship the item back. We’ll guide you through it.
Refunds (Physical Products)
Refunds are issued only:
- If the replacement item is out of stock or unavailable.
- In cases of payment failure or duplicate transactions.
Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
Notes
- Products must be unused, unwashed, and in original packaging.
- We reserve the right to deny a return if the product is used or damaged post-delivery.
- Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable.
Digital Products (e.g., Printables)
All sales of digital downloads are final. Since digital files are instantly delivered and easily copied:
- We do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds for digital items.
- Please check the product description carefully before purchasing.
